Falloff feature in Material (9/23/1999)

Here is an example of mapping falloff usage.
I wish it works with Reflection, but...

You see a pinch around the pole, which caused by Spherical mapping. Sphere radius: 50
Y Falloff: 80
You see the falloff effect, from equator towards the both poles.
Exactly same map with planar mapping from the top.
(Spherical mapping is temporally turned off)
Results achieved by mixtures of two maps.
Spherical mapping (with falloff) on top of the Planar one. Blended nicely.
